Role overview
You will design and implement baseline AWS infrastructure for client workloads—networking, identity, compute, and storage—using infrastructure-as-code and operational best practices.
Education & level
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2+ years in cloud / systems engineering
- Comfortable operating in Linux environments
- Hands-on with at least one IaC tool (Terraform preferred)
What success looks like
You deliver reliable AWS landing zones, automate repeatable deployments, and document everything clearly so clients can operate confidently.
- Consistent, reusable Terraform modules
- Well-defined IAM with least privilege
- Monitoring and alerting in place from day one
Key responsibilities
You will work with senior engineers to deliver client projects end-to-end:
- Deploy AWS foundations (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, endpoints)
- Configure IAM roles, policies, and access patterns aligned to least privilege
- Provision EC2/ECS/EKS basics and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Implement logging, monitoring, and basic cost controls (budgets, tagging)
- Write clear runbooks and contribute to internal standards
Required skills
We expect strong fundamentals and an eagerness to learn:
- AWS core services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and Git workflows
- Linux administration, networking basics (DNS, TLS, routing)
- Scripting (Python or Bash) for automation
- Clear technical communication and documentation
Nice-to-have
These are not mandatory but will help you stand out:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate
- Docker basics and container tooling
- Basic security hardening knowledge
